I didn’t use it this time, but I have before and it worked great. Motor, and everything was welded in place no adjustment, no room to cut, half link too much, no half link too short. Slapped on a snap idle chain tensioner and problem solved. Quick, fast and easy.

Fix Floppy Jeep Doors with the DC-12™

Have had the driver's door installed for a week or so and did the passenger door this afternoon. Simple to install. I smile on every click when I open the Jeep's door and it stays open! Clever solution to an annoying problem. Nits: Receiver could be more visually refined. But despite the awkward looks it never gets in the way of my feet/legs. How the door mount sits on the footmans loop is a bit awkward. But again it all works. Overall I'm very happy with the product.

We appreciate your feedback on the receiver and door mount and will definitely take those points into consideration for future improvements. What makes it look a bit awkward to you is the required strength we need to build into the Receiver, the forces involved are very, very high. Our intial design was much thinner with graceful lines and lightening holes, but in testing, that design would occasionally explode. So we opted for the 'IT WILL NEVER EXPLODE OPTION':). Anyway, we're delighted that you're happy with the overall product and hope it continues to bring you a smile every time you open your Jeep's door. Thank you for choosing the DC-12! Happy Trails!
