Radial shaft seal for general industrial applications

Radial shaft seals are used between rotating and stationary machine components, or between components in relative motion. The seals have an outer covering of steel or elastomer, designed to fit the housing bore. The sealing lip is made of elastomer or thermoplastic for best sealing against the rotating shaft. A garter spring in the seal optimizes the sealing against the shaft.

Rubber covered steel O.D. improves sealing ability at the housing, and is kind to softer materials. Style HMS4, Single Lip with Carbon Steel Spring.

Better quality

I wanted a better quality bearing and wasn't able to find SKF on other websites. My customers will be able to use his machine for another 15 years.

Great product

I didn’t use it this time, but I have before and it worked great. Motor, and everything was welded in place no adjustment, no room to cut, half link too much, no half link too short. Slapped on a snap idle chain tensioner and problem solved. Quick, fast and easy.
