Best $70 I have ever spent on my Wrangler 👌🏼

Took a whopping seven or eight minutes for me to put on. This product has seriously more than likely added at least a couple years to my life expectancy. Anyone that owns a wrangler knows how freaking aggravating it is when the door just keeps swinging closed on you even if you’re parked on ground. This set up allows you to open the door Like a normal human being on a normal automobile. No more door swinging wide open if your back tire is up on a pebble. No more constantly nudging the arm open over and over again as you’re trying to gather your keys and whatever else you have before getting out of the vehicle. Each one of the holes along the strap is a mint stopping point that has the most satisfying tiny little “click” letting you know that you can take your hand off of the doorhandle, rest assured it’s not swinging radically and One Direction or another. You could go from about a 15° door opening all the way to a full 60° or 70° door opening and it has that same satisfying click along the way. You could park your jeep on a straight up incline with a 30 mile an hour wind blowing in your face and the door will stay open. But just tap with a little persuasion to start swinging the door close if that’s what you’re trying to do. Seriously, the stress that this ingenious little fix will get rid of in your life, is well worth the cost of $70. And the material is a plus. If I were the one selling these, I would’ve priced them at around $119 or $129. Seriously an awesome set up with gradeA materials. OK last thing I have to say and then I am done bragging about why you should buy one of these. It actually comes with, guess what… A nice little direction pamphlet with pictures and words, written in English! You can tell this product is made right here in the US, and it is just bad ass. Just buy it.

Good product could be better

The door shuts solidly, the device is tucked well away from the body and it looks the part too.

The strip with the holes come out of the retainer slot when the door is yanked fully such as when operated by kids. the door electrical cable retainer cord just dangles freely. The strip should be made longer so it does not slip out and a buckle should be made in the product so the electrical retainer cord can move when the door opens and closes.

Hi Madhur Ahuja, I know that no one likes reading instructions, but that is essential when installing a new product like ours. The DC-12 is designed to work WITH a check strap installed, not in place or instead of one. You, apparently, don't have a check strap included in your install. With the check strap installed and adjusted properly, the FlexArm will not escape the receiver, it also prevents your door from striking your fender or yanking out your electrical lines.. Your electrical cable loom should be routed beneath the DC-12 receiver and carrier (as shown in the instructions) and then you will see that it moves together with just enough slack. We spent a lot of time making the short 4-page instruction manual as complete and as easy to follow as we could, but the installer needs to read and understand them to achieve excellent results. Please read and follow the instructions and you will learn that the DC-12 actually performs to a 5-star level. Happy Trails!, Steve

Awesome product!

The DC-12 solves the Jeep Wrangler door problem perfectly!! I was skeptical at first about the sound the product made but after installing and using the product, to me and my wife the sound is not overly loud and we both agree over time you will probably forget all about it. My Jeep JK has a dead peg and there is no contact or interference with the DC-12. Completely worth the cost and would do this to every Jeep I ever own. If you’re considering the DC-12 just buy it and try it. You could charge more for the product and I would still be a customer, the DC-12 is awesome!

Hi Gregory! Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that the DC-12 solved your Jeep Wrangler door problem perfectly. We appreciate your trust in our product and are happy to know that it was worth the cost for you. The clicking sound definitely gets quieter as the product is 'broken in'. We will definitely take your suggestion into consideration for future pricing. Thank you for being a valued customer and for your support. Happy Trails! Steve

Hit wiring harness

The install was very easy. Only problem I ran into was that the arm hit the wiring harness on the passenger side. I had to zip tie the harness to the ground wires to get it out of the way. Otherwise they work very well.

Hi Mr. Schellenberg, Thank you for leaving a review for our DC-12 . We're glad to hear that the installation was easy for you. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the Flex Arm hitting the wiring harness on the passenger side. Those wires shouldn't have been that low, so it's good to discover that before an errant foot pulled them loose. We're happy to hear that the DC-12 is working well for you. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Happy Trails! Steve
